2013 Senses Shiraz
The 2013 Senses Shiraz displays complex aromas of mulberries, dark plums and liquorice with hints of coffee, spice and dark chocolate. On the palate the dense velvety texture is complemented by cinnamon spice and mocha notes resulting from 18 months maturation in barrels. The rich fruit flavours and fine silky tannins mean that this wine can be enjoyed now or with careful cellaring will develop for the next 6 – 8 years.

James Halliday Wine Companion 2017
Rating: 94 Points
Begins the conversation on sweet, friendly terms but beware, seriousness lurks. This is not to be taken lightly. Coffeed oak, condensed milk, fresh cherries, plums. Dry leaf matter is spread throughout. Tannin is firm; fine; unyielding. Mid-weight wine with a long future.

Rating: 94 Points
Plenty of well-applied winemaking has gone into this chardonnay. It’s barrel fermented in new and one-year-old barriques. The use of wild yeasts brings plenty of additional complexity into the mix. The palate is still so tightly Impressive Shiraz from Margaret River. Aromas of coffee grinds, mocha chocolate and dark plum with a savoury loamy earthiness. The palate is so well managed with the tannin and oak regime perfectly aligned to the smooth concentrated fruit. There is a delightful silkiness in here that makes it such an appealing wine for current drinking but with the potential to age for a few years. Cellar: 8 years.
