2014 Senses Shiraz
The 2014 Senses Shiraz displays complex aromas of mulberries, dark plums and liquorice with hints of coffee, spice and dark chocolate.
On the palate the dense velvety texture is complemented by cinnamon spice and mocha notes resulting from 18 months maturation in barrels.

Fruit and regional identity. Sense of place: Margaret River. The wines are a good example of typical Margaret River characters. More concentration and complexity through extended maturation and barrel fermentation.

Deep colour; a very complex shiraz in terms of flavour and structure. Oak plays a significant role in the mocha/dark chocolate/spice components, but the purple and black fruits are more than a match, assisted by tannins to create the stimulating texture on the back-palate and finish.

Loads happening in this full-bodied, though elegantly structured, shiraz. Aromas of coffee grinds and spices with a decent sprinkle of cinnamon. The palate is all dark fruits swirling with spicy coffee and dark chocolaty plummy fruits. Grainy tannins create a textured gravelly palate. Lovely savoury finish.
