Watershed’s Stage 1 “Southern” vineyard is situated 4.8 km south of Margaret River at the intersection of Darch Road and Bussell Highway, Margaret River. The Bussell Highway is the major arterial road for traffic travelling to and from the Margaret River township. Both of these vineyards have extensive Bussell Highway frontage, which contributes significantly to the profile and cellar door sales of Watershed Premium Wines. The Stage 1 Watershed vineyard is in the “dress circle” of Margaret River both fronting the Bussell Highway at the turn-off to Leeuwin and Voyager Estates

Watershed’s “Southern” vineyard comprises a total area of 127.29 hectares, of which 79.9 hectares has been established as a vineyard. The vines were hand planted in August/September 2001. This is also the site of the cellar door, restaurant & café, winery, barrel stores and wine warehouse.

In September 2006 Watershed commenced planting its “Northern” vineyard which is located in Jindong (within the Margaret River Appellation), and by September 2008 it had fully planted 60 hectares of the land which is comprised of 74.69 hectares in total area. The three Watershed vineyards total of 177.45 hectares under vine. In addition Watershed leases a 10.5 hectare vineyard which is located directly adjacent to the Stage 3 Watershed vineyard.
