The Point Story
One of the best surfing locations in Margaret River is The Point, also known as Surfers Point and Mainbreak. The Point provides world class big waves not for the faint hearted. The Point each year hosts Western Australia’s premier surfing event, the Margaret River Masters
The Farm Story
The Farm surf break is located in Bunker Bay, adjacent to Cape Naturaliste 45 minutes north of the Margaret River townsite. The surf break was discovered in the 1960’s when you had to walk across farm paddocks to reach the beach and then the long trek up the beach to The Farm. Today, you can park at Farm Break Lane, but you you still have the trek up the beach.
